R.I.TO develops creations that connect fashion, art, and ancestry through a partnership with the Ainbu Keneya, women of the Huni Kuin people from the Brazilian Amazon. The collection arises from the encounter between different forms of feminine knowledge. It is inspired by the kene, sacred graphic designs that express the worldview, spirituality, and relationship of the Huni Kuin with the forest. Transmitted through generations, these designs carry stories, knowledge, and identities that remain alive through the women who preserve them. The kene represent an ancestral tradition and an important cultural heritage. By bringing these symbols to new forms of expression, the partnership contributes to increasing the visibility of Huni Kuin culture and strengthening the protagonism of the women who keep this knowledge alive in their territories.
